Employee Assistance Program

The EAP program is available to all employees and their household members who are covered on a CIS medical plan.  Each person is eligible for 5 sessions per situation, such as personal or work related issues, including:

  • Health Problems such as Anxiety or Depression
  • Drug or Alcohol Problems
  • Marital or Family Issues
  • Financial or Career Questions
  • Identify Theft Issues
  • Legal Issues
  • Interpersonal Relationship Problems

EASE counselors are available for individual, couples, or family counseling. In addition to 5 face to face sessions with a counselor, your Employee Assitance Program offers the following:

  • A 24 hour crisis line that is available to you 365 days a year. Your EAP program recognizes that often people may feel the need to talk with a counselor over a weekend or during evening hours.
  • Access to the Education Line which provides information on a variety of topics. The Education Line can be reached by dialing: 503.228.3316 or 800.973.1406.
  • Access to a telephone consultation for financial issues.
  • Web access at: www.easeeap.com. Your user name and password for CIS is: oregon. Click on: EASE Self-help Resource Center to enter the enhanced Web site.
  • All EASE services are free to individuals covered by a CIS Medical Plan.
  • Use of this service is confidential.
