2010-11 Healthy Benefits Worksite Screenings  

Worksite screenings will be offered at regional screening sites listed below.  Please check with your employer prior to scheduling an appointment to verify if your work group is participating. The 12-hour fasting screening includesmeasures for:                                     

                                                             

   

  •            Total Cholesterol
  •            HDL/LDL with ratio 
  •            Triglycerides & glucose
  •            Blood pressure & heart rate
  •            Waist circumference
  •            Height & weight (self-report)
  •            Brief results counseling

     Screening participation eligibility includes:

    1. Insured by a CIS medical plan

    2. Have completed a HSQ since June 21, 2010 and at least 5 days prior to the screening event

    3. Are an active employee, retiree, or spouse

    Regional Flu Shots   

    Don't forget to get vaccinated!  The 2010-2011 flu vaccine will protect against three different flu viruses: an H3N2 virus, an influenza B virus and the H1N1 virus that caused so much illness last season.  http://www.cdc.gov/flu/Bring your Regence ID card to a regional screening site if you plan on getting a flu shot.
